Overview

Bet25's onboarding is crypto-first and built around the WalletConnect protocol. Instead of the traditional email-and-password flow, you connect a self-custody wallet — MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Rainbow, Ledger Live, Coinbase Wallet, or any EVM-compatible wallet — and that wallet identity becomes your Bet25 session.

Before You Start

You will need:

  1. A self-custody EVM wallet — MetaMask (most common), Trust Wallet, Rainbow, Ledger Live, Coinbase Wallet, Safe, Argent, or any wallet supporting WalletConnect v2
  2. At least one supported crypto asset to fund the first deposit — confirm the exact asset list in the Cashier (see Cashier walkthrough)
  3. A confirmed country of residence — confirm your jurisdiction is permitted in Bet25's Terms and Conditions before signing up
  4. Government ID ready for eventual KYC submission

If you do not yet hold crypto, the simplest entry point is buying a stablecoin (USDT or USDC) on a major exchange and withdrawing it to your wallet. Stablecoins hold dollar value, removing volatility risk during gameplay.

The Sign-Up Flow

  1. Visit bet25.com and tap Sign Up
  2. WalletConnect modal appears — shows a QR code (for mobile wallets) or a browser-extension prompt (for desktop wallets like MetaMask)
  3. Connect your wallet:
  • Desktop with MetaMask / browser extension: approve the connection in the extension pop-up
  • Mobile wallet: scan the QR code with your wallet app
  1. Sign the connection message in your wallet — this proves wallet ownership without sending any funds
  2. Review and accept the Bet25 Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy
  3. Confirm age — 18+ (or higher where required by local law)
  4. Account active — your wallet address is now your Bet25 identity

WalletConnect v2 is supported across most modern self-custody wallets:

Account Security

WalletConnect identity is only as secure as your wallet. Best practices:

  • Use a hardware wallet (Ledger, Trezor) for significant balances — keeps the private key offline
  • Enable wallet-level passcode / biometric on mobile wallets
  • Never share your seed phrase — Bet25 will never ask for it
  • Disconnect after sessions — under WalletConnect Manager in your wallet, revoke the Bet25 session when not actively playing
  • Bookmark bet25.com directly — never connect via search-engine ads or random links

KYC Verification

KYC may be required at certain withdrawal volume thresholds — submit ID + proof of address proactively to avoid a delay when you need to make a significant withdrawal.
